About Erebor Rattery

It started with three rats who were supposed to be snake food.

Bifur, Bombur, and Bofur had other plans. So did we.

Erebor Rattery was born in Stratford, PEI out of a Tolkien obsession, a soft spot for small creatures, and the firm belief that rats are wildly underrated. They are smart, social, silly, and so full of personality it’s genuinely embarrassing how attached you get. If you know, you know.

Our mischief has grown to seven girls, each one named after a dwarf of Erebor, each one convinced she is the main character. She’s probably right.

We make merch for the rat people, the Tolkien people, and 

the people who didn’t expect to become rat people but here they are buying a onesie with a dwarf rat on it at midnight. No judgment. We are those people too.
